Help for Haiti
The children would like to raise money for Haiti by coming to school
next Friday, 12 February, wearing as many different colours as they can. We
are also planning to have the longest ‘Conga’ Sheering School
has ever seen! We
are not asking for a specific donation, but will have a bucket in the entrance
hall for anything that you are able to spare. Thank you.
Golden Table
On Monday the Mid-Day Assistants chose Freddie in Class 1, Ella Winborn
in Class 2, Chloe Simkiss in Class 3 and Lee in Class 4 to sit on the Golden
Table for excellent lunchtime behaviour. Well done!
Attendance
Every half term our attendance is checked by our Educational Welfare Officer. She
is responsible for checking that we are keeping accurate attendance records and
she also follows up any cases where a child’s absence for that period is
below 90% or where they have had a period of weeks where they haven’t been
in for all five days. We are delighted that she was able to list 43 children
who have had 100% attendance during the period from 7th December to 29th January. Mrs
Strank will be giving all of these children a sticker in Friday assembly.

Most children are wearing the correct school uniform and
