Mrs Lorkins' Star of the Week
My stars this week are Year 6.They have applied themselves sensibly to their
SATs, showing a really mature and enthusiastic attitude towards the week’s
work and have shown
us all how much they have committed themselves to making us proud of them. Well
done Year 6, you are TERRIFIC.
Join us at our Friday Celebration Assemblies
The assembly begins at 9.10am
and lasts for around 20 minutes. Everyone is welcome to
come along any Friday.
Roll of Honour
This week Hannah Finn, Lola, James, Alex, Alice, Erim, Thomas, Louis, Harry
Hutley, Sam, Danny, Zoe, Harvey, Will Meadows, Rebecca, Chloe Simkiss,
Millie, Amelia, Abbey, Kayleigh, Taylor Lyons, Annabel, Summer, Harry Bishop,
Harry Pennell, Ruby, Ben, Oliver and Tristan had their names entered in
the Roll of Honour. Well done!
School Meals
We are excited to be running our own school meals service. All
of the meals are freshly cooked, using fruit, vegetables and
meat from local suppliers and the children have chosen some of the recipes
on the new menu. We have a two week menu and will be asking
you to choose the days your child will be having a meal at least weekly in
advance, although we will still be able to cater for last minute
choices!.

you enjoy reading with your child?
Could
you share that enjoyment with other children?
We have several children in school that would really benefit from reading
as often as possible to the same adult.
If you would like to become a READING CHAMPION, we would be delighted to hear
from you.
We would help you to become confident in reading with children and then pair
you up with a few children who you would read with on a regular basis to suit
you.
